Before joining a live contest
- Confirm the final starting lineups: This is the single most important step. A benched player scores zero. Wait for the official XI at toss before locking your team.
- Avoid players with unclear roles: If a batter is listed but might not face many deliveries, or a bowler might not complete their quota, look for safer alternatives with defined roles.
- Back captain picks that match the conditions: A swing bowler on an overcast morning, a spinner on a dry afternoon — conditions dictate which player types have the highest scoring ceiling.
- Enter early — do not wait until the last second: Server traffic spikes near lock time. Build your team with time to spare, then make final adjustments after toss if needed.
What happens after you join

- Watch the toss closely: The toss determines batting order and bowling assignments. In day-night matches, the chasing side often has an advantage due to dew. Adjust your captain pick accordingly.
- Track powerplay bowling: Bowlers who bowl in the powerplay get more opportunities for wickets. Check which bowlers are given the new ball before selecting your bowling picks.
- Death-over batters are undervalued: Players who bat at 5–7 often face fewer deliveries but score at a higher strike rate. In high-scoring matches, these finishers can deliver strong points-per-credit value.
- Use multiple contests wisely: Enter one safe contest (H2H or small pool) and one high-upside contest (grand league) per match. This balances consistency with upside.

No. After lock, the team in the contest stays as it was saved. Edit before the lock time if a player is unavailable.
When do points move?
Points move as the app applies the contest rules to the match. This page does not promise an update on a timer.
What if a player leaves the match?
The team stays as you saved it. A replacement after lock does not enter the contest.
Can I join after lock?
No. The contest closes at lock. Another fixture that is still open is a different card.
